On October 21st, nearly 300 people attended the first community workshop for the Charlotte Center City 2020 Vision Plan. Another 100+ people participated online by watching all of the action streaming live. All of these participants, both in person and online, provided input on assets, challenges, opportunities and their vision for the future of the Center City.
The input collected during the meeting, as well as from this website, was used to develop a vision statement, guiding principles, and goals for the 2020 Vision Plan. Input also helped identify and refine strategies and design concepts for future development in Uptown and the surrounding neighborhoods.
You can chack out the document library for the presentation that kicked off the community discussion.
Thank you Volunteers!
